Northsiders Museum

Coolock, Dublin 2011-13
The Northsiders Museum was a living museum whose materials were the stories and collections of those who work and shop in the Northside Shopping Centre. The Museum was an itinerant space whose travels were confined to the empty spaces within the shopping centre, reflecting the localised migratory experiences of many from the surrounding community. Stories, collections and art works were borrowed or exchanged as a starting point for interventions and dispersing future urban legends. Resource scarcities meant I adopted a seasonally timed approach running programmes each summer and inviting artists both amateur and professional to share, exhibit and create.  https://www.facebook.com/northsiders.museum
